You Don’t Need High Res Digitals

Digital images (retouched or not) are separate and apart from the photography session.  There is no obligation to order an album, I do offer prints & digital images for purchase as well. 

If you were looking for digital images I do offer high resolution digital images without the purchase of accompanying product. When you purchase high resolution images we are retouching very large files and blowing them up to retouch pixel to pixel. This process is time consuming and to print 24”x36”+ sized images the cost will reflect that. Clients love a large canvas over their bed from their session and outside of an image or two they aren’t printing a gallery’s worth of very large pieces for their bedroom nixing the need for a download of high resolution images.

Most clients go with an album because it gives you a professional printed product as well as digital copies printable to the size of the album, this brings the processing time and cost down from high resolution digital images. Professional labs handle images with the utmost care and discretion. Many consumer places do not print boudoir images because they hire underage employees.  I was an art student even back to my school age days and I remember a certain male friend bringing loose prints to school of things he had processed at a box store the night before, that had always stuck with me and it is important to know how your images are handled and who will be processing them when making the decision on what to do with your images.
